Yassine Mountacif is the founder and CEO of Unissey, an innovative start-up specialising in facial biometrics. His academic career took him from his native country to France and then to the United States. After obtaining a degree in materials engineering from the École nationale supérieure des mines de Nancy and an engineering degree from the École Polytechnique, he went on to study entrepreneurship and innovation at the University of California at Berkeley.
In 2017, Yassine decided to take the plunge into entrepreneurship by creating Unissey. This startup offers a facial biometric authentication solution, enabling unique and intuitive access to everyday services thanks to facial recognition.
Unissey stands out for its use of advanced algorithms combining live detection and facial comparison, ensuring a high level of security and confidentiality. The innovative start-up has become a major player in facial biometrics in France and abroad, with high-profile customers in sectors such as banking, insurance, e-commerce and healthcare.
In recognition of his career, Yassine has been named in the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 ranking for France.
